What are the sleeping arrangements?
There are 4 shared bunk rooms in the lodge. They vary in size from sleeping 8 people to 12. All rooms have shelf style bunks like you would find in a DOC hut so you may be sleeping next to a new friend.
What to bring
Our mattresses and pillows are pretty comfortable but you will need to bring your own bedding. This could be a sheet, duvet and pillowcase, or a sleeping bag and pillowcase, or a mixture of the above.
We do not provide toiletries or towels so remember to pack these also. We work on the Coronet Peak Waste Water System so any products brought need to be septic tank safe.
Where to park
Carpark 3 on Coronet Peak is the best and closest parking. Our suggestion is to park at the top of the Ski Club Stairs, quickly unload your gear and then take your car to the closest available carpark.
Can we cook?
100% ! Every guest or group is allocated space in the pantry, fridge and freezer. We have all the tools and equipment for you to cook any meal you desire; just remember there may be several families or groups using the kitchen at once so as with any holiday - the less time in the kitchen the better!
Are meals provided?
No, we do not provide any meals.
What happens after 10am?
Checkout time is 10am. You are expected to have vacated the premises by this time with your belongings and having completed all your duties.

Why is it so cheap?
We operate as a cooperative, volunteer-run club! By working together to keep the lodge clean and maintaining the space ourselves, we keep nightly rates affordable for all our members and their families.
You are also expected to complete a cleaning activity during and at the end of your stay - this is allocated to you and there are instructions to follow.
How to get involved
We love when members get hands-on! You can get involved by coming along to summer work-bees, washing equipment, fixing something at the lodge while you are there or deep cleaning. Chat with the custodian or reach out to us via email if you’d like to lend a hand!
Help my gear is wet!
At the end of the day it is common to have wet ski gear. The club is equipped with a drying room to make sure you are able to start the day with warm dry boots, clothes and gloves.
What if I forget to bring something?
Don’t stress! Check in with fellow lodge members or the custodian—someone can often lend a hand. Otherwise, worst case scenario you can pick something up in Queenstown ( about 20 minutes away)
